The company was founded in 1998. It has professional producers, theatre critics, journalists, economists, lawyers and leading specialists in PR and advertising on staff. Most employees of the company have worked on international projects.
The company is one of the most stable and successful in the Ukrainian show business. All projects of Alliance Chatreau – whether major concert tours or minor cultural and art events – have had a good response from the public and mass media.

Some of the company’s projects are:
- tour of  th e Mariinsky Ballet, which Alliance Chatreau organized for the first time after the collapse of the USSR. The last time the Mariinsky toured Ukraine was 25 years ago.
- Tour of the Bolshoi Opera Company. The opera Boris Godunov was staged for the first time after a long break
- Seasonal project "Nashe Kino" ("Our Movie") –  the Kinotavr film festival.
 -The first time ever in Ukraine!  The Ukrainian leg of the European tour of The No Smoking Orchestra and world-famous film director Emir Kusturica   
- In fall 2005 the company launched The Hollywood School in Ukraine, an international social project aimed at the development of Ukrainian film industry through providing the possibility for sharing of knowledge and the successful experience of the Hollywood school of moviemaking, including product distribution to the global market, with Ukrainian directors, producers, writers, actors, cinematographers and those who want to become them.
