Hollywood is surrounded by a big thick concrete wall. Most people think there's no ladder tall enough to get over this wall, but as Hollywood itself has proven many times before– there's one - professionalism. Any other ladder breaks after you take your first step. Professionalism is when talent takes shape and direction.

Our mission is to provide the possibility for sharing of knowledge and the successful experience of the Hollywood school of moviemaking, including product distribution to the global market, with Ukrainian cinematographers, directors, producers, writers and actors and those who want to become them.

Hollywood School in Ukraine (HSU) offers an opportunity for the beginners to learn the art of moviemaking and for the experienced moviemakers  to revisit their knowledge and expertise in a hands-on environment with experienced Hollywood working professionals as teachers. All of our instructors have gained their experience on "Real World" working sets, sound stages and control rooms of Hollywood 's biggest studios.

The school is also a good opportunity to help people with similar vision of filmmaking meet each other, exchange thoughts, ideas and experience and finally join in creative teams.

The goal of the HSU is to help Ukrainian moviemaking to develop faster allowing not only the Ukrainian and the US industries to cooperate, but also to assist Ukrainian filmmaking to quickly take its rightful and worthy place among the elite's in the moviemaking world.

The best of our students might have the chance later on to be recommended by the HSU and our instructors:
• for internship at major at Hollywood film companies;
• for employment in joint Ukrainian-American film projects, both in Ukraine and the US ;
• for employment in film and television production companies.
