Dear Ms. Olena,

The Ministry of Culture and Tourism, pursuant to the order of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, has considered your letter #74 dated June 24, 2005, regarding our assistance in the development of the Hollywood School in Ukraine.

The Ministry of Culture and Tourism supports the idea of the creation of the Hollywood School in Ukraine, which will facilitate the introduction of new and innovative methods of film education. The Ministry is ready to facilitate dissemination of the information among  students of  respective faculties of the higher educational institutions regarding the activity of the Film School and its admissions procedures.

Concerning the state financing of the above-mentioned Film School, we have to inform you that according to the applicable legislation, the financial assistance to the educational institutions is rendered on terms of the state order.

Taking into consideration your interest in the issues of film education, we hereby suggest you submit specific proposals of how the government could support the Hollywood School in Ukraine in its activity.
