I'm so pleased to be a part of the Hollywood School in Ukraine.
My favorite part of my profession is myself as a storyteller. I think all countries that live on this planet need to communicate with each other. It's all about communication and getting the planet together and telling each other's stories.
Use your own lives and write your own movie.. . I think you could do that, to look into your own lives and write, we need that. You know, the play is the thing. You get some great material and that's the key. Also, don't wait around to get hired by some big outfit to realize your dream. Create it yourself!

I totally support what your doing at HSU and my hope for the Ukrainian people is that they can stay open to what they need to learn and use from a tradition that is outside their own tradition. While at the same time being able to stay in touch with their own artistry…I very defiantly would love to come to Ukraine and get a taste of what the culture is, what the filmmakers are like, what the people are like and what the food taste like!

As an actor or a director, being trained in the arts is a critical component to achieving success. Because of HSU, Ukrainian students will now get that chance . …Hopefully someday I can come to Ukraine and visit you guys. I would be very interested in doing that.

I think it's important that when I was in film school at the time. It was really great to see other artists, other directors, producers, writers, just to talk about their experiences. I think that that was a good thing because it allows you as a film student to see it was possible and that it could be done. For me this film school is very important in order to have that dialogue.
